It is important to note that the "SBA Score" submitted to CXC by a school is not the final grade.  Moderators are appointed by the Council to remark the samples submitted by the school.  CXC moderates the SBA to ensure that the teachassessment of the work is aligned to the standard of assessment defined by CXC.  

The preliminary slip will have a "#" to indicate that the moderated SBA score is less than 50% of the maximum score.  If there is no "#", that indicates that the moderated SBA score is greater to or equal to the maximum attainable SBA score for that subject.
