The CXC Local Registrar is an official of the Ministry of Education (Overseas Examinations Commission in the case of Jamaica) who is responsible for handling the day-to-day activities relating to the registration of candidates, maintaining the security and integrity of the Council’s examinations, and for the administration of those examinations in each territory. The Office of the CXC Local Registrar is usually located in the Examinations Section of the Ministry of Education (Overseas Examinations Commission in the case of Jamaica).
