The Centre should recall the file from the Ministry. After the file has been recalled, the Centre should ‘Withdraw’ the subject by selecting the Edit Candidate option. After the subject has been withdrawn, the file should be sent back immediately to the Ministry.

If the request to withdraw the candidate was made after the official registration deadline date, the file cannot be recalled from the Ministry. Therefore, the Centre must make an amendment by selecting the Edit Candidate option. After withdrawing the subject, the data file must be forwarded to the Ministry for onward transmission to CXC.

The foregoing procedure also applies to late entries.
