Repeat indicates that a candidate has done the particular subject before at the same level - even if it was 20 years ago. Re-sit indicates that the candidate wants to take the subject again and reuse the SBA marks from a previous registration period, usually within a two-year period for CCSLC and CAPE or a one-year period for CSEC.
